Derivation Of Weight Of The Steel Bar Per Meter = (D^2/162)*Length Of The Bar

DERIVATION OF WEIGHT OF THE BAR

(You Can read this Post In You Language By Click on Translate In Left Side of this Page)

WEIGHT OF THE STEEL BAR(KG/METER) = VOLUME * DENSITY
= (AREA OF BAR* LENGTH OF BAR IN METER)* DENSITY OF BAR

                                      = ( Ï€/4)*D^2 * LENGTH OF BAR * DENSITY OF BAR

                                      Density of the steel bar = 7850 Kg/M3= (7850/1000^3) Kg/mm3
D = diameter of the bar in mm.
                                  Length of the bar= 1 meter= 1000 mm.

                                  = (3.14/4)* D^2*1000*(7850/1000^3) Kg/Meter.

                                  = D^2/ 162.29  Kg/Meter.

                                                  BAR

*This derivation is valid for circular steel bar.
